Cosmetic Bonding

Cosmetic bonding uses a special composite material that is moulded onto your tooth and shaped so as to remove imperfections and give you a straighter, more beautiful smile with minimal removal of healthy tooth compared to veneers and crowns

An initial consultation will be required to ensure you are suitable for cosmetic bonding and to explore with the dentist what your ideal end result is and how this can be achieved

At your treatment appointment a minimal amount of tooth may need to be shaved away to provide adequate retention, or to help give you the tooth shape you desire, though this is not always the case.

The dentist will apply etch and bond to ensure a successful bonding treatment before applying the composite resin material and sculpting this to shape your tooth. An ultraviolet curing light is used to complete the bonding process and a final polish concludes your treatment, meaning you can see your results often within a single appointment!
